v0.3 release notes
ReleaseWhat landed in Orbiter v0.3 — the native CV workbench for a binocular pair with a line laser, the Stereo tab, and the second-generation mechanics as STL, STEP and FreeCAD.
v2 mechanics: the drive modules are out
The second-generation Orbiter mechanics are in the repo as STL, STEP and FreeCAD files: two near-identical rotary drive modules on an aluminium tube frame, with taper inserts and an AS5600 on each axis.
See a scan in 3D — new Results viewer
The Orbiter project page now has an interactive Results viewer: the camera hemisphere, every photo pinned to its frustum, and the dense COLMAP point cloud of real scans.
